A section of I-70 is scheduled to be reduced to one lane in both directions this weekend to accommodate work on the West Fork Whitewater River and Whitewater River overflow bridges. Significant back-ups and delays are expected. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes when possible.
Friday, July 24 – Monday, July 27 (7 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday)
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane from Brick Church Road and Centerville Road
- Entrance ramp from S.R. 1 to eastbound I-70 closed
- Exit ramp from eastbound I-70 to S.R. 1 closed
- Westbound I-70 reduced to one lane from S.R. 1 to Brick Church Road
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
