The ramp from southbound U.S. 35 to eastbound I-70 is expected to close later this month. With construction underway and traffic shifted to narrower lanes, closing the ramp will provide safer conditions for both crews and motorists.
The signed detour will follow U.S. 35 to Centerville to access eastbound I-70. Local drivers may find alternate routes that work best for them.
The closure is expected to begin on or after Monday, April 21, and remain in place through summer 2026.
Construction Speed Limit Now Active
The construction zone speed limit is now active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
