Overnight lane restrictions are scheduled this week on I-70 to deliver and set bridge beams and move a large crane. Drivers can expect the following restrictions:
Monday, Feb. 9
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from S.R. 227 to Smyrna Road
Tuesday, Feb. 10
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from S.R. 227 to U.S. 40
Wednesday, Feb. 11
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from New Paris Pike to U.S. 40
Closures are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night.
New Paris Pike
As a reminder, New Paris Pike will be restricted to a single lane at I-70 through March. A temporary signal maintaining northbound and southbound traffic is expected to be installed this week, weather permitting.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
