U.S. 27 ramps to reopen later this week
Overnight restrictions are needed this week as progress continues within the Revive I-70 corridor.
Drivers can expect the following restrictions:
Monday, July 20 (10 p.m. to 10 a.m.)
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane from Brick Church Road to Centerville Road
Thursday, July 23 (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane from U.S. 35 to S.R. 227
- Eastbound I-70 ramps to and from U.S. 35 will be closed
U.S. 27 Ramps Reopening
A temporary ramp closure is scheduled to end this week. The ramps to and from U.S. 27 and eastbound I-70 are scheduled to reopen on or after Thursday, July 23. They have been closed since April to be rehabilitated. Improvements included pavement repair and work on the acceleration and deceleration lanes.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
