Lane restrictions are scheduled this week on I-70 for bridge demolition work near New Paris Pike and pothole patching along the western portion of the project corridor.
Drivers can expect the following restrictions:
Monday, Dec. 8 – Friday, Dec. 12
- Eastbound and westbound I-70 reduced to a single lane near New Paris Pike.
Restrictions are planned 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Monday – Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday.
Tuesday, Dec. 9 (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
- Eastbound I-70 ramps to and from State Road 1 closed
- Eastbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from Brick Church Road to Washington Road
All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
