Pavement patching continues this week

Additional overnight restrictions are needed

Lane restrictions are needed overnight this week for pavement patching throughout the eastern portion of the project corridor. In the western portion of the project area, traffic will shift to the outside to accommodate upcoming construction. The shift will begin late this week from Centerville Road to Brick Church Road.

Drivers can expect the following restrictions:

Monday, Feb. 23 (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

  • Westbound I-70 reduced to a single lane at Mineral Springs Road

Monday, Feb. 23 and Tuesday, Feb. 24

  • I-70 reduced to a single lane from Wilbur Wright Road to Dublin Pike

Tuesday, Feb. 24

  • Eastbound I-70 reduced to one lane near the Ohio state line

Wednesday, Feb. 25

  • Westbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from east of S.R. 227 to the Ohio state line

Thursday, Feb. 26

  • Westbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from west of U.S. 35 to S.R. 227

Thursday, Feb. 26 – Saturday, Feb. 28

  • Westbound I-70 reduced to a single lane from Centerville Road to Brick Church Road

Closures are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. each weeknight unless otherwise noted. The Friday and Saturday night closures extend from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m. the following day.

Construction Speed Limit

The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
