The closures are expected to last through late 2025 and will allow crews to continue improvements at the U.S. interchange. The signed detour utilizes U.S. 27.

The partial cloverleaf at the U.S. 40 interchange is being replaced with a diamond interchange with single-lane roundabouts. The existing loop ramps are being removed. Similar improvements are being made at the U.S. 35 interchange. Both interchanges are expected to be open in final configuration in 2027.

Temporary Closure at Washington Road to Begin in November
The Washington Road overpass bridge is expected to close on or after Monday. Nov. 3. Washington Road will be closed from west of Kepler Road to Moyer Road. The closure is expected to last through spring 2026. A signed detour will be in place.

Construction Speed Limit
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-70. A reduced speed of 55 mph is in place
for the duration of Revive I-70 work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions
in work zones.
